Windows 8 Tablet
Windows 8 tablets have been oft-rumored topic since a long time. While we were expecting Nokia to unveil a Windows 8 powered tablet first among all, now it seems like other manufacturers might unveil the new Win-8 tablets as soon as next week.
The Top Computer Vendors Toshiba, Asus and Acer are rumored to bring Windows 8 tablets at Computex 2012 show in Taipei, next week, according to a report.
While Toshiba will show off a Windows 8 tablet and a notebook type device, the ASUS is rumored to show off more than one tablet featuring a detachable keyboard, just like its Transformer Prime.
Devices are expected to be running on Intel and ARM processors, while Windows RT is powered by ARM chips from Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments, with one particular ASUS tablet might even come with an NVIDIA chipset under its hood.
The reports further states that only a few Windows RT devices are slated to be released, although the list contains heavyweights such as Lenovo, and even HP. Dell is also rumored to launch win-8 slate.
Separately, below is an Asus teaser that appears to be showing a device that runs both Windows and Android.
