Microsoft, today, during its pre-E3 conference revealed that it will be bringing a new multiscreen entertainment platform to the world. Dubbed SmartGlass, the new app will debut this fall, according to the report.

Letting users to sync their entertainment content viewing across multiple devices, the new Xbox Smart Glass technology will also allow users to play and watch on the Xbox 360 console via smartphones and tablets, even Xbox 360 owners can stream their contents from their smartphones and tablets to their big-screen television. The device (will be connected) can be used as a remote control for Xbox 360. Additionally, the technology will update the info on your device as the content on the TV changes.

The new SmartGlass will work on Windows, Windows Phone, and of course on the Xbox 360. Additionally, it is expected to support Android and iOS.

However, there’s talk that the company’s new technology is answer to Apple’s Air Play. But I leave it better upon you guys. What do you guys think of it?
