ZTE, today, revealed its new Tegra 2 powered ZTE Grand X smartphone in Turkey in an urge to bring high end mobile video and gaming experiences to a wider audience.

Previously known as the Mimosa X, the new Grand X features a 4.3-inch (960 × 540) qHD display, an NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, and an integrated Nvidia Icera modem.

Flavored by Android Ice Cream Sandwich, the new ZTE Grand X sports a 5MP rear snapper alongside a 0.3MP front-facing shooter, Dolby Sound, HD Video Capture, HD Voice, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.

Also offering mobile HD link which enables users to share video content on TVs, the phone is the first device in the Grand series to be launched outside of China.

The ZTE Grand X is a 3G device, whilst company plans to launch Grand series of smartphones with devices using quad-core ARM chips in addition to Intel mobile chips as well as LTE models for select markets in near future.

No words on pricing, but it is expected be available in the “second half of 2012.” Stay tuned for more on the matter.
