Windows Phone Update for Lumia Smartphones

Nokia is planning Windows Phone Tango mobile OS on its list of updates for its Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 Windows Phone handsets, and some mostly minor new features and improvements alongside internet sharing, flip-to-silence and a variety of other enhancements will debut too.

According to Nokia Conversation, the Windows Phone Tango update for Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 will roll out starting June 27^th, while a recent tweet from Nokia revealed that Windows Phone 7.8 update for Lumia 900 will be rolling out in the coming weeks.

The Nokia, however, don’t confirm what new features Lumia 900 Windows Phone 7.8 update will bring to the phone, but has implied it will be delivering as many Windows Phone 8 improvements as it can.

The most popular games by Zynga like Words With Friends and Draw Something will also be available for Lumia phone owners.

Nokia has also announced that the Nokia Lumia 900, Lumia 800, Lumia 710 and Nokia Lumia 610 will receive an update with new Windows Phone 8 Start screen, along with a host of new apps and extensions.

Who knows, is it too far of a stretch to think the Tango update could become the Windows Phone 7.8 update?
