AT&T Galaxy S2 ICS Update Available Now
However, the Samsung Galaxy S2 Android 4.0 update has been available since March in some region, the AT&T Galaxy S II owners left waiting and waiting. Today it’s real, and AT&T Galaxy S2 ICS Update is being rolled out for all.
Although, the Android 4.0 upgrade was made available a few days ago, only a number of phone owners were able to download the latest update via the Samsung Kies desktop software before the update was pulled back off. For that Samsung claims the upgrade a testing the software only.
This new ICS upgrade does bring numerous enhancements, bug fixes, and improvements alongside new features like Face Unlock, a new notifications bar, improved home screen folders and the new UI. A new app for tracking data usage will also be added.
The new ICS update for Galaxy S2, however, rolling out over-the-air (OTA), but it also can be installed through Samsung’s KIES by plugging in the device in PC. In case you didn’t receive a notification, there’s no harm to checking out Menu > Settings > About Phone to get the update on.
