Samsung just has announced another smartphone in its Galaxy-series. Called Samsung Galaxy Chat, the new phone is flavored by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Designed for people who love having physical buttons, the Galaxy Chat sports a BlackBerry style QWERTY keyboard alongside candy bar shape. Aside of these two awesome features the handset is also equipped with some nice specs, which are following:
- 3-inch QVGA (240 x 320) touchscreen display
- 2MP camera
- 4GB of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB)
- 1,200 mAh battery
- Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, HSDPA
- MicroSD card slot
- Weighs 112 grams and measures 11.7mm thick
Other features include AllShare Play to share media, Game Hub to download games, as well as S Planner app to manage your schedule and Quick Office application to view Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files. Also featuring ChatON messaging service feature with a dedicated key to access it, the phone is expected to ship later this month.
The Galaxy Chat will make its debut from Spain to Europe, Latin America, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, and Southwest Asia.
No words on pricing yet, though I suspect it to be competitive considering the specifications. Stay tuned for more.
