Soon after releasing Android 4.0 ICS for Xperia S smartphone, Sony has released ICS Kernel Source Code for the device recently. Based on v6.1.A.0.452 Ice Cream Sandwich firmware, you can download Xperia S ICS source code from the company’s website. The file weighs 132 MB in size.
By flashing the source code now devs can build your own custom ROMs for the handset. Even third-party developers will be able to play with the kernel code, XperiaBlog suggests.
For those who might interested to start cooking up a fresh batch of homebrew and aftermarket firmware for Xperia S phone, should head over to the source link below to grab the codes.
