ATT Galaxy Note

As expected, AT&T and Samsung has started rolling out Premium Suit equipped ICS update for Galaxy Note starting today. With this latest Galaxy Note ICS update a range of new Note-specific apps will be available – though leaving the UI much the same as it was with Gingerbread.

This latest ICS update improves the speed and stability of all the software, however.

The new features include a revamped S Memo app, Face Unlock, data management, S-Note upgrades alongside Android Beam for sending information via NFC. S Memo’s great home screen widget make it an app that’s easy to use when you need to jot something down quickly, and the extra power that comes with S Note make it one of the best note taking apps we’ve run across.

Now pressing long on the Home button you’ll also get Recent Apps activated along with the access to your task manager.

Updates to the Google apps and others like Chrome for Android make the Note better now. If you just can’t accept TouchWiz, having ICS allows you to install Nova Launcher to get the stock feel.

The Galaxy Note ICS update will be knocking on Phablet owners doors beginning today (with a few lucky testers got it already). The update will be rolling out via over-the-air (OTA), though there’s no harm to checking out for it, maybe a notification is available already.

Meanwhile, in case if you’re curious enough to know more about other new features check them out here. Be sure to watching the Premium Suite equipped ICS update on Galaxy Note in action in video below.
