Today, citing the Indonesian IT ministry lets slip the details on upcoming Sony’s yet another Xperia model on the horizon. Previously dubbed as Sony ST26i model number, the phone now will be en-routed to the shelves as Sony Xperia J.
You can see a couple of leaked pictures above (courtesy of IT168) that purportedly show the upcoming Sony Xperia J, though we have no official words.
Expected to be a mid-range smartphone, the Xperia J’s features and specs have known very well since it was leaked in benchmark recently. Though as a reminder, the J will feature a single-core 1 GHz processor, a 480×854 resolution display, alongside latest Android 4.0.4 when it finally debuts, presumably in the coming months.
The thing that stands out is the lack of the green Sony Ericsson ‘liquid energy’ logo — it will probably complete the rebranding into Sony — for this handset. We’ll keep you guys updated as we hear more about it.
