Hotly-rumored Amazon Android Phone is likely under testing, according to Wall Street Journal. This prototype smartphones is reported to be a 4-5 inches device, according to insiders.
Amazon Kindle Phone’s mass production could start later this year or early next year, suggests report. The online retailer Amazon is likely supposed to testing the device along with suppliers in Asia.
The site didn’t give any clue on other features and specs aside of a screen size falling in the range of 4- to 5-inches. If Amazon considers this Android handset with the same screen, then it might take it up against the Galaxy S3 and HTC One X in terms of size. Who knows, maybe, it could be an Amazon Phablet as well, just like Sammy’s Galaxy Note.
Rumor it has that Foxconn is also working with Amazon to develop this Android device.
However, a handset isn’t the only product Amazon is rumored to be working on. Recently, a report also came out saying the company may launch a Kindle Fire 2 as soon as this summer. Stay tuned for more.
