Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is much sweet that likely most of us might look forward to get hands-on. The most appreciated feature of this operating system has been its new keyboard, which boasts better prediction. The new Jelly Bean Keyboard is something all of our fast fingertips are craving for.
However, this keyboard is a “first alpha port of the AOSP Jelly Bean keyboard” to Ice Cream Sandwich and it will be further improved by the devs. This is an AOSP port that means the occasional bug is to be expected.
To be more specific, at the time being, the Keyboard supports full next word prediction and auto correction for English only. Additionally, limited languages, including English, Spanish, German, Russian, French, and Portuguese (Brazil) are supported only.
To get it running, download this from Google Play Store from source link and head into the “Language and Input” settings menu, and select Jelly Bean Keyboard as your default input. So are you going to get it on your ICS device?
