Previously dubbed as model number SCH-I200, a new Samsung’s device has been spotted online today. Being called Samsung Jasper, the new handset’s features have known for awhile as it was surfaced on Bluetooth SIG website and a GL Benchmark site back in April.
Today, the photo of Samsung Jasper has been surfaced on the web, confirming a stylish midrange smartphone that won’t break the bank, though. Judging by the images above, showing the phone in Verizon livery complete with support for 4G LTE connectivity. The man behind the images has also confirmed a QUALCOMM Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 SoC to be equipped on the handset when it unveils.
However, rumored features of Samsung Jasper include a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, a WVGA (800 x 480) display, and of course support for 4G LTE network. We’re also expecting Android Ice Cream Sandwich experience with a bit of TouchWiz poured on top. It will also have a dedicated button for multitasking rather than a traditional search button.
Jasper is also expected to be a pretty spry little Android. Though, we are still unaware with a launch date. Stay tuned for more.
