As The Dark Knight Rises takes cinemas by storm, the app-based gaming tie-in – dubbed Batman gaming app – has been launched for your devices. Gameloft, on Friday, has released ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Batman Game for Android and iOS platforms.

It may be worth a purchase for that reason alone, but we imagine the solid graphics and familiar gameplay will help to further sway you. The new game (Batman game for iPhone, iPad and Android) is inspired by The Dark Knight Rises Movie and has all the characters from the Batman like Catwoman, Lucius Fox and Commissioner Gordon.

The Dark Knight Rises Game features random events and multiple missions in which players will be dealing with hostage situations, car chases, and jailbreaks and many more different moves and cinematic effects.

Players can be able to explore hidden items of the city in the game to unlock upgrades with some of the new fighting skills for the Dark Knight.
