
The incredibly popular mobile photo sharing service has hit 80M users, making 30M user increase, less than in three months after announcing its acquisition by Facebook.
According to a post on Instagram blog community has grown to over 80 million registered users who have shared nearly 4 billion photos. That’s still a far cry from Facebook’s 300 million photos uploaded every day. but it’s certainly huge if you remember Instagram is mobile-only, however Facebook is planning to port Instagram on the web.
At the time of acquisition, Facebook announced that Instagram had some 50M users. This means the app has managed to increase its user base by more than 10 million users on average per month.
