Those of you ever planned to pick the Mighty HTC One X, but found the price to be too high, now will be please to read that the smartphone now can be yours for as little as $99. Of course, as usual, you have to sign up with AT&T for a new 2-year contract.
The handset presumably got the price cut to the half of its initial price on AT&T. AT&T — depressing schoolchildren everywhere — says the July price cut is part of a back-to-school promotion.

What do you get for this price: A smartphone with dual-core Qualcomm 1.5GHz Krait processor; Adreno 225 video card, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP rear snapper with 1080p video recording, and a 1.3MP front-facing shooter with 720p video recording. You can watch the show on a 4.7-inch Super IPS LCD2 display at 1280×720 resolutions. There’s also 16GB on-board storage.
Other goodies include Beats Audio technology, Android 4.0.4, and 4G LTE connectivity. You can go here to grab your HTC One X on AT&T.
Meanwhile, Radio Shack has also start offering $50 off any Android smartphone priced at $100 or more. Where, you can expect the discounts for the HTC Evo 4G LTE, the Samsung Galaxy S3 and GS2, and the Motorola Droid Razr 4G LTE too.
