10 inch PlayBook

RIM, however, has been rumored since long to introduce a bigger iPad-sized BlackBerry tablet. Obviously, no such device has been officially announced to this day, yet this does not necessarily mean that a 10 inch PlayBook never existed.

Today, the Vietnamese forum Tinhte has given us a first glimpse at what a 10 inch BlackBerry tablet might look like.

Judging by the images, what it looks like a tablet very much the same as its smaller 7-inch version, with a simple, matte-finish black casing, relatively wide bezel and a BlackBerry logo on the bottom. Narrow cut-outs on the left and right edges of the fascia reveal the speakers, and there are pogo pins on the bottom edge for a docking station.

There’s also a front-facing shooter, and a second snapper on the back.

The slate is reportedly equipped with a SIM card slot that’s expected to be used with an LTE modem.

The 10-incher slate is rumored for Q3 2013 unveiling. Still, we’re also waiting for an official announcement for recently spotted 7-incher 4G PlayBook, which might happened in Q4 of this year as well.
