
RIM, today, has revealed the availability of its long-awaited 4G PlayBook Tablet. The new 4G version of BlackBerry slate is expected go on sale in company’s home country of Canada starting August 9th.
Following the Canada release the PlayBook 4G is expected to debut in U.S., Europe, South Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean in the coming months.

Featuring built-in support for cellular networks and 32GB of storage, the new PlayBook 4G Tablet will be available for purchase from various carriers, including Bell, Rogers and TELUS, in Canada.
The device sports a 7-inch (1024 x 600) display, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB RAM, a 4800 mAh battery, and it will be shipping pre-loaded with version 2.0.1 of the BlackBerry Tablet OS.
Alongside 5MP rear snapper that can shoot full 1080p HD videos, a 3MP front-facing camera is also expected.
Strangely, company didn’t officially reveal any information on specs or pricing of the tablet, though a price tag of $549.95 is being rumored.
