Verizon just has confirmed that the official HTC Rezound ICS Update is being rolled out. The Big Red has posted documents detailing the new update along with download/installation instructions on the Rezound’s software update page.
According to carrier, weighing 399MB in size, the update will occur in the form an over-the-air (OTA) notification on your device.
Don’t panic if you haven’t received the update yet, as the roll out depend on where your location is based sadly, so you still may not see a notification until sometime later today.
For those who can’t/don’t want to wait for a notification push from the Verizon, can grab the RUU and manually install it on their device. Or you can manually check the update with going to Menu > Settings >About Phone.
The new upgrade will be bringing the still old HTC Sense 3.6, though other goodies including Face Unlock, advanced notifications and a new browser to stream with.
Any luck in getting the update notifications on your phone? Sounds off in comments box below and share your joy with the rest of our readers below.
