Samsung has officially started rolling out the long overdue ICS Update for Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and Tab 10.1. At the moment, unfortunately, the both WiFi versions are getting the updated in UK, and the upgrade still doesn’t appear to be rolling out in the US or anywhere, but should be soon.
Samsung UK representatives have confirmed the update, and that it can be pulled right on the device over the air (OTA) by checking for updates or install it directly via Samsung’s Kies software application.
The new update brings better performance, enhanced browsing, face unlock, and camera enhancements to the device. You’ll also be seeing a major user interface overhaul. Bug fixes and other software enhancements are also expected to manifest in the latest update.
Did you get update notification yet? If not, pull it down via Samsung KIES right now.
