Recently we’ve been talking about the unofficial Jelly Bean Update for Galaxy-Series, including the Galaxy Note, S3, and even S2 did join in on the fun. While only Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean Update has been in lime-light for some time now, the Galaxy Note and S2 owners can expect the official Android 4.1 Update to-be-ported soon.

According to a recent report, internal testing on the Galaxy-Series devices has proven successful, and the update should be ported soon. The rumor it also has that if Samsung doesn’t go through with the JB update, a “value pack” may arrive (for Galaxy S2) that brings some of the best Jelly Bean features without the full update.

But, of course, so far there is no reason not to update the device to Android 4.1. Though, any decision has yet to be finalized by Sammy itself.
