Dell, today, has officially revealed its new 27-inch UltraSharp monitor first-ever with an AH-IPS display, making it one of the very few companies to debut it. Dubbed Dell U2713HM, the new monitor pairs a backlit LED- illumination and matte black screen surface with a 27-inch 2,560 x 1,440 (WQHD) resolution display. The screen also packs over 3.6 million pixels and a color gamut of more than 99-percent sRGB.

The new model is said to be more energy-friendly than previous IPS monitors.

Other interesting features include 1,000:1 typical contrast ratio, 2 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 350cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time, and 178/178 degrees viewing angles.

The Dell U2713HM PC has support for HDMI, DVI-D, DisplayPort, VGA and a four port USB 3.0 Hub comes bundled. And it also can be connected to a PC through using these Ports.

Update: The new Dell U2713HM monitor has also caught to our eyes, being detailed on the Australian website here. Where, it is priced at 799 AUD. No words on other regions’ launch.
