As Microsoft Windows Phone 8 revealed back in late June, we first heard rumor about a much-rumored Nokia’ device to running this OS. After that Samsung, as well, has been rumored to bring first Windows Phone 8 device.
According to recent report, Samsung may indeed prepare a first WP 8 handset. Dubbed Samsung SGH-T899 Odyssey, the phone was inadvertently leaked through a User Agent Profile. Heading to peppy T-Mobile Wireless, the smartphone will pack some higher-end feature and specs, which are following.
Samsung Odyssey SGH-T899 Features and Specs:
- 4.65-inch (1280 x 720p) Super AMOLED HD Display
- LTE, HSPA+ 21 (supports HSPA+ 42 too)
- 8MP rear snapper
- 2MP (720P) front-facing “HD” shooter
- MSM8960 dual-core processor, clocked at 1.5GHz
- Pre-loaded Internet Explorer 10 Browser
- NFC and more
Aside of these features, what makes this handset more powerful is Windows Phone 8 operating system.
Rumor it has that Sammy is also preparing another mid-range WP8 handset, dubbed Samsung Macro, with a 4 inch WVGA screen alongside 5MP and 2MP dual cameras. So if T-Mobile brings the Odyssey, AT&T is expected to get Macro.
If everything goes alright, we could be seeing both devices debuting later this year. Which device you would prefer to play with?
