Pinterest, a Social corkboard site, has launched its new app for Android and iOS. That said; the new Pinterest for Android and iPad is now available to download. While the existing Pinterest App for iPhone got a boost and faster performance.
In a blog post, Pinterest said the new releases will make it easier to “take your inspirations with you.”
The Pinterest was launched last year, and it was only available on the Web and through its popular iPhone app and Windows Phone app. According to a report, the site has received almost 20 million unique visitors in March.
Android support has been in high demand and the company has kept its words and finally delivered. The engineers at Pinterest built the free Android app from the ground up and optimized it, as well, to work on the large range of available Android tablet and smartphone devices. No matter what size device you use, the app’s design is the familiar cascade of tiled images.
The company introduces a 2-column layout for Android and iPhone app, which includes better usability and improvements to stability and performance.
