
Apple, today, released the first major software update for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Coming as OS X 10.8.1, the new update carries a rather small file size, while brings some major issues fixes that plague specific use cases, such as audio output from a Thunderbolt Display or crashes in Migration Assistant.

The new OS X 10.8.1 update Build 12B19 can be grabbed directly from Apple’s site or via the Software Update mechanism that directs users to the Mac App Store for updates. It weighs 24.2MB in size, while paltry 7.28MB only on Retina MacBook Pro.
