Samsung India, today, has released the new Galaxy Note 10.1 in the country. Dubbed Galaxy Note 800 in India, the tablet made its worldwide debut this week, while it’s been available in US since last week. As well as it’s been listed for preorders on Samsung eStore since then.

While the slate is priced at Rs 39,990 (which may be street price of slate in the country), the Samsung India eStore is offering the device for Rs 38500. What you get for this price? Head over down for quick spec run down.

Samsung is offering a SIM card slot in the Indian version of the tablet, which supports 3G as well as voice calling.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 800 comes pre-loaded with a bunch of apps like Adobe Photoshop Touch, Crayon physics, Polaris Office, S Note, S Planner, and more. Other features also include Smart Stay, Pop up Play, AllShare Play and AllShare Group Cast. There’s also a ‘My Education app’ for school students that offers over 10000 innovative and interactive free videos for students from class 1 to 12. This app also has assessment papers with test on real time basis, test results, admission dates directory of schools and colleges.
What makes this tablet awesome is a multiscreen feature, which lets users running two different applications side-by-side simultaneously for easy multitasking. Where you can also view Web pages or videos, or launch other apps.
