
Recently mute-confirmed via LG’s teaser site, the upcoming second-generation quad core Optimus G smartphone has been leaked in the wild. The latest images (shown above), obtained by AndroidMX, have confirmed the phone’s existence as well as the rumored specs.
The site confirms that it will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, aided by the Adreno 320 GPU, and Android 4.0.4, probably integrated with LG’ 4.0 UI. Codenamed LG E973, the Optimus G’s other confirmed features include a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720p) IPS HD display, 2GB RAM, and 13MP camera with autofocus, LED flash on the back.
We’re hearing rumor that the device may debut on August 29 at IFA event, Samsung also will be there.
