LG Electronics revealed their all new 27-inch Smart TV ahead of IFA 2012 event. Featuring the same Cinema 3D passive glasses technology as its big sister, the new LG TM2792 Personal Smart TV provides incredible picture quality thanks to its 1080p IPS display.
You can watch your favorite films on this TV through using same 3D glasses you’re given in a cinema, as it uses passive 3D technology — opposed to active 3D technology.
Additionally, this model supports integrated WiFi Direct along with company’s latest technologies such as SmartShare that enables you to browse and share files with laptops, smartphones and external hard drives via screen sharing with Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) and Intel’s Wireless Display (WiDi). It also supports the latest LG Magic Remote with a scroll wheel and motion-sensing capabilities. The new TM2792 Smart 3D TV also comes with DLNA support and 2 HDMI sockets.
Moreover, the TM2792 can also convert 2D to 3D and includes twin 7W speakers. And using its MHL technology, it can recharge a mobile device while playing HD videos via a standard HDMI connection.
No words on official pricing and worldwide availability. Though, we do know the new Smart TV will be launched in Europe in September. Stay tuned with us, as more info is coming on Aug 29 as IFA event kicks off.
