Samsung, today, took the wraps off their yet another addition to Galaxy Player series. Called Galaxy Player 5.8, the device is reminiscent of a bigger and thicker company’s Galaxy S3 smartphone.
As player’s name depicts, a 5.8-inch qHD LCD screen dominates the front with 960 x 540 pixels resolution. There’s also a front-facing VGA shooter, and on-board Android 4.0/Ice Cream Sandwich coupled by 1GB of RAM, making it more usable than some of company’s previous Players.
Equipped with front-facing speakers, the new Galaxy Player 5.8 PMP will be available in either 16GB or 32GB versions with the option to also add a MicroSD card, all fitted with a 2,500 mAh battery.
Unfortunately are still details not confirmed, such as what processor the player will carry inside? There are also no words on pricing and worldwide availability. Stay tuned as we will have more information on Aug 29 as IFA event kicks off.
