After countless leaks, Samsung just revealed its most anticipated product, so called Galaxy Note2, at IFA 2012 event live in Berlin. Being a little larger to the original Note, the new Phalet2 features a more efficient screen along with more efficient but powerful processor. Smoothing out the original Note’s blunt edges with a Galaxy S III-inspired curved casing, yet still managing to be just 9.4mm thick and 180g, the new Samsung Galaxy Note2 hybrid/Phablet also boosts screen size by 0.2-inches as well. Head down over the following key specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Note2 Full Features and Specs:
- 5.5-inch (1280 x 720p) Super AMOLED HD Display with a true 16:9 aspect ratio
- Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS with TouchWiz skin on the top
- 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos Processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 8MP rear snapper with LED Flash and auto focus
- 1.9MP front-facing shooter
- Redesigned, longer S Pen with better grip for truer analog pen and paper experience
- Huge 3,100 mAh battery
- 9.4mm thin
- 16, 32, and 64GB storage options
- MicroSD card slot for expansion
- WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC
- HSPA+ 21mbps, plus 3G, and 4G LTE

Note2 will bring some new functionality to the table in terms of the S-Pen feature along with new feature called Air View that “allows users to hover with the S-Pen over an email, image gallery, or video to preview the content without having to open it.”
Samsung’s also added Easy Clip ability to crop and share from anything beaming out from the Note2′s 16:9 displays. There’s Facebook calendar integration into Samsung’s S Calendar app, too.
Another new feature include Quick Command that is accessed with an upward swipe with the S-Pen; doing so will reveal a menu of quick commands to send someone an email, make a call, or do a search.
Just like Note 10.1, it will also feature Popup Play which lets users watch a video, or open other applications while doing another task.
The new also has a Screen Recorder function that lets you record a demonstration of how to use an application, for instance.
The new Galaxy Note2 will be shipping in Marble White and Titanium Grey color options — but we also suspect them offering it in Pebble Blue too.
Tipped for early October launch in Europe, the device will debut in the US shortly after. In the US, it will support 4G LTE on yet-to-be-announced State’s carriers. I will soon update this article as soon as I will have more details on pricing and availability.
