Transformer Pad Infinity 4G LTE

As promised, the folks over at ASUS has indeed prepared their 4G LTE version of ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity WiFi-only tablet. Being called ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity 4G LTE the new slate adopts ‘TF700KL’ as its model number.

Spotted at the Vodafone booth on IFA trade show, the Transformer Pad Infinity 4G LTE promises an average speed around 50Mbps down and 11Mbps up with an average of 25Mbps down and 5Mbps up. Check out the video below for a super-fast speeds on-the-go test from guys at MobileGeeks.

To be true; I’ve also been learning, though in some cases transfer speeds reached as high as 80Mbps down and 35Mbps up. Of course it shouldn’t come as a surprise to us, as Vodafone network’s LTE service can support 81Mbps speed on the go.

Featuring same design, same connectors, and same delicious full HD 1080p IPS screen — as its cheaper Tegra 3-powered WiFi-only sibling does — the Pad Infinity 4G LTE rather runs a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor from Qualcomm. That does because the quad core Tegra 3 processor does not support 4G LTE mobile broadband.
