Today the allegedly images of Nokia ‘RM-742’ Lauta MeeGo OS-based handset have been spotted in the wild. Being called the Nokia Lauta, it would have been Nokia N9 successor and was meant to be unveiled right after the N9 was launched, but it never made it.
The Lauta design-wise, of course, looks same as N9, as the only main difference would be a full QWERTY keyboard, but it’s being said that this handset was subsequently scrapped due to Nokia’s decision to support Windows Phone and drop MeeGo.
I am not quite sure but as per demand folks at Nokia might lay their eyes upon bringing such pretty nice gadget in near future. More images in black and magenta combo colored version are below, courtesy of My Nokia Blog.
Well! We always love to hear from you guys. Do you ever wish Nokia to head down a physical keyboard path?
