After countless leaks, and a whole lot of speculations, Apple — at the media event in San Francisco — took the wraps off its much-anticipated iPhone5 smartphone. Featuring both glass and aluminum combined body; the new Apple iPhone5 also boasts 18% thinness and 20% lightness than the company’s 4S.
As reported, this is company’s first smartphone with 4G LTE capability. The handset also includes “ultrafast” wireless, which incorporates the 5GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi, giving the iPhone 5 more bandwidth overall.
With flaunting Retina Display at 1136 x 640 pixels resolution, the iPhone5 now lets users have 5 rows on the “pages” along with the permanent single row along the bottom. Featuring the company’s latest — company’s most advanced and fastest — Apple A6 processor, making the new iPhone 2x faster in terms of processing power and graphics compared to iPhone4S’s chip.
The Apple’s latest flagship also packs a huge battery, for that the company claims up to 8 hours over LTE, 10 hrs over Wi-Fi browsing, 10 hrs over video, and 40 hours over Music listening. What’s new in the latest iDevice?
An improved video stability and face detection equipped rear snapper with capability of panorama mode and full-HD 1080p video recording. The camera also lets users take photos while recording video. A front-shooter with 720p capability dominates the front of the device along with three new microphones — one on the front, back and bottom — boasting improvements to voice calls, too.
Apple has also showed off its love to old iPhone’s owners. That said; the company also released an adapter so that it will work with older accessories. The new iPhone5 also lets you view widescreen videos without any letterboxing, and apps like iWork, iMovie, and Garage Band.
