It’s no secret that GameStop prefer their job to be on top of selling the latest products and best video games. While, the Nintendo Wii U is due to release in coming months in different regions, GameStop has started taking its preorders already.
Keep in mind, GameStop is also offering an extra $10 trade in credit for those people who want to get rid of their old Wii, so you’ll get $60 instead.
Available in two configurations — a basic set for $299.99 and a deluxe set for $349.99 – you can preorder your new Nintendo Wii U game console right here.

Price and Availability:
Talking about US availability, it will debut on November 18th. Tagged at $299 for 8GB white Wii U and white GamePad, AC adapter for each, and a HDMI cable; while the new Wii U Deluxe Set will cost you back $349, where it includes a 32GB black version, a black GamePad, GamePad Cradle, Wii U console stand, a HDMI cableand pack-in title Nintendo Land.
The Wii U will be out in Japan on December 8th in two packages. First of all the ¥26,250 (£209) basic bundle will contain the console, one GamePad and 8GB HDD, while the ¥31,500 (£251) premium edition will feature 32GB HDD.
As of UK, it will be available starting November 30th, while there’s no official detail on pricing. However, three is rumor it has that U.K. version of the game console will have a price more than £200.

Update: Immediately after the announcement of Wii U, Amazon did list the white Basic Set at £199 [screenshot shown above]. That price has now risen to £249. What does that mean? We suspect indeed £199 price tag for Wii U over Amazon in near future. Stay tuned with Techsnapr for a follow up post on availability in different regions.
