It was pretty clear that the ASUS could be preparing a follow-up to the Padfone hybrid in near future, as the original one couldn’t catch the attention of the gadgets-lover all around the world. No matter if the reason would have been its high price tag or silly processor.

But to lure all tech savvy once again with unique design, the company is now rumored to unveil all new ASUS Padfone2.

Not only the upcoming ASUS Padfone2 will come boasting a unique and sleeker design, but it will also pack some heavy specs — expected with 2013 approaching. That said; along with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad core processor, the next smartphone/tablet combo device will be coupled by 2GB of RAM [benchmark’ screenshot shown below].

Other top tier features and specs include Android 4.0.4 or Jelly Bean [given fact ASUS has been quick with updates in the past] and possibly a 1080p HD screen. Putting all these impressive things apart, an introduction during CES in January seems plausible. So stay tuned with us for additional details.
