With Samsung and other manufacturers seem to hitting goals in hybrid smartphone/tablet devices era, what it looks like the new Oppo Find5 Phablet — in the form of 5-incher — is getting ready to become rival as well.
It won’t be wrong mentioning that the China-branded Oppo Find5 grabs the title of the “world’s first 1080p smartphone” – but not the powerful one. Yes! You read it right; the Find5 is the world’s first 5-incher Phablet brining a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 441 ppi, which is far higher than the recently unveiled iPhone5 too.
Apart from the massive screen, it also comes boasting 2GB of RAM, a 12MP rear snapper along with 2MP front-facing shooter. Other features also include 16 / 32 GB of on-board memory, as well as a monster 2,500 mAh battery.
Running Android 4.1/Jelly Bean out of the box, it’s powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processor, clocked at 1.5GHz — also found in Xiaomi MI2. Meanwhile, Wi-Fi as/a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 are sported as usual connectivity.
Hey! Oppo don’t brag about records and firsts, something BIG is coming.
Unfortunately, no details regards pricing and availability of Find5’s were revealed. But it will be available in Asia soon after awhile, following the rest of the world’s release later this year. Stay tuned with us for more on the matter.
