Apple, at iPhone5 event, already revealed the availability of upcoming iOS6 update. As mentioned, the new Apple iOS6 update is now rolling out starting today, September 19th.
Arriving for existing iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad models; the new iOS6 update adds many key updates to the already polished operating system.
Along with 200 new features, the new Apple iOS6 update eliminates the official YouTube app from homepage. It also replaces Google Maps with a new Apple Maps app, and offers Facebook integration, FaceTime video calls, Safari web browser, and Photo Stream features, among other things.
The new operating system, however, can be upgraded through latest iTunes app; in case you don’t get a notification alert for over-the-air (OTA) update, you can manually upgrade your device by visiting the General Settings > Software Update button and tap Download and Install.
