ASUS just has sent out invitations for Padfone2 announcement. We have already seen Padfone2’ sketchy benchmarks earlier this week; the features and specs of this hybrid device seem heavy, though.

Moving on, the invitation [shown above] itself doesn’t reveal much more than — what you see is what you get. However, we can also see a little sliver of the new hybrid device with rounded corner.

Moreover, what it looks like ASUS will be holding pair of events in Milan (Italy) and Taipei (Taiwan), both taking place on October 16^th.

The new Padfone2 is rumored to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, Android ICS and 1080p HD screen. Meanwhile, you can sure expect a sleeker design for this one too. We’ll have more info on Oct 16, stay tuned.
