Remember that Lytro Camera? The new — innovative shot-first focus later plenoptic — light field camera was unveiled way back in October, and we brought you the official launch of the camera on company’s official site.

The camera was tagged at $399 on Lytro website soon after its debut.

Now the camera’s release date has been confirmed worldwide. In the US, starting October 9^th the new Lytro Camera will be available for purchase online through Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.

As of international availability, starting October 9^th the camera is expected to go on sale online through Canada’s Future Shop and in-store in Australia from October 10^th.

The camera will debut in Hong Kong and Singapore starting mid-October. Available in blue, red and black colors models, the Lytro Camera rather allows users to take pictures first and let them focused later; than manually focusing or waiting for autofocus instead.
