Since its debut from late June, the Android 4.1 OS has ported on smartphone and tablets by leading manufacturers for sometime now, and now this is time for ASUS Transformer Prime and Pad Infinity Jelly Bean Update.
It’s no secret that Taiwanese tech giant ASUS is quick on operating system’s upgrade.
So to stir its products demand, ASUS has been doing same with the latest Jelly Bean update on their previous flagship devices. That said; the ASUS Transformer Prime ‘TF201’ and Pad Infinity ‘TF700’ Jelly Bean update is now rolling out.
The new JB update has made its way in Sweden on Transformer Prime (at least) and is being rolled out via over-the-air (OTA) notification, and the owners of the slate should be getting alert sooner than later. Or as usual, you can upgrade your device manually by going to Settings → System Firmware Update → Check Update. Keep in mind, the new update kills Adobe Flash support and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity on Prime. But owners will still be able to download Flash it just may give off errors.
With the Sweden roll out on the horizon is the likely start to a much broader globally push. Stay tuned with us for additional details on roll out in other regions.
