Along with new dedicated Digg for iPad app, today Digg has also released a massive update to the existing iOS app.

That said; the new feature — dubbed Reading Sync — allows users to pick up reading where they left off. Apart from bringing save-for-later functionality, the new Digg iOS app now also lets users share article links via text message on-the-go.

The new Digg app, version 3.1, also includes improved performance, simplified navigation and iPhone5 support. You can download the new updated app here, but if you already have it installed on your iDevice, check for the update.
