Samsung German division reportedly has sent out the invitations for an October 11 event, advertising a product announcement, and rumors it has that the new Galaxy S3 mini is on the way.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 mini announcement makes sense, even when the invites (shown above) reads [when translated] “something small to make it big” and “small is now a big hit.”
Moreover, what it looks like a stylized ‘S’ is infamous on the background of the invite as well.
Details are unknown regards the Galaxy S3 mini specs other than a small 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and 5MP rear snapper. To be flavored by Android operating system, it will run a dual core processor. The handset is rumored to cost around $200.
Apart of the S3 mini, a new yet another budget-Android smartphone from Samsung — dubbed Galaxy S2 Plus — could be unveiled at the same event as well. As we already heard rumor of the handset along with S3 mini way back in August. Stay tuned with us for additional details.
