Microsoft reportedly is preparing to launch its Xbox Music service alongside Windows 8 operating system on October 26th.
That said, it will include a subscription offering and a free streaming service supported by ads; wherein the former subscription is reported to cost around £9.99 a month, with the yearly subscription tipped to be around £89.
Meanwhile, those of you can’t/don’t want to pay anything, you can always go the ad-supported route — again, just like Spotify.
The service will be supported by Windows Phone-powered devices, Windows 8, and of course by Xbox 360. Microsoft is also looking forward to bring the new service on iOS and Android operating system, but nothing is confirmed. Stay tuned with us for additional details.
