It’s no secret that Apple’s new iPhone5 smartphone comes featuring a nano SIM card. While many retailers over the globe are offering the iphone5 with nano-SIM equipped, some countries are left wondering with no love on the matter.

Update: We’ve been digging information on the availability of nano SIM cutter for your purchasing pleasure. That said; the online retailer YoYoBase has this item for $24 (circa Rs. 1333 or 18 euro). Below is the video showing off how to use the nano SIM cutter for iPhone5.
That said; the huge problem with using Apple iPhone5 in India, at the time being, is the non-availability of Nano-SIM cards. However, some Indian retailers — including Airtel and Aircel — are tipped to be Apple’s partners and to offer company’s latest device in the country with nano SIM card. But considering the fact they are used to offering previous Apple’s devices as unlocked — and Indian consumers easily converted their regular SIM card into a micro-SIM card for using pleasure – it seems like the new iphone5 will probably be offered as factory unlocked.
Therefore nothing is confirmed at the moment if the both carriers will be offering the new iPhone5 with nano SIMs or not.

But to please your patience, there’s always an easy way to use nano SIMs flaunting devices. Of course it’s pretty clear that you can cut a regular SIM into a Nano-SIM manually by using nano-SIM cutter; though it’s a hit or miss affair.

But you will soon be able to use your regular SIM card in new iPhone5. That said; one of our readers from Shenzhen, China, just has sent out an image [shown above] to Techsnapr of his new iphone5. He claims that he is using nano SIM in his new device by using nanoSIM cutter.

Stay tuned with us, as we’ll do a follow-up post (with official link to purchase) when the new nano SIM cutter for iPhone5 will be available worldwide with an affordable price tag.
