As expected, the LG Optimus G smartphone will be heading to AT&T and Sprint soon. LG, earlier today, announced that the phone will be available online and across the both retailer’s stores in the US.

Being called the most powerful and gorgeous handset over the planet, the new LG Optimus G features a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage along with huge 2,100 mAh battery.

Along with a monster 13MP shooter, the Optimus G carries one of the best displays on any handset we’ve seen to the date, and that is a impressive 4.7-inch (1280 x 768p) WXGA TrueHD IPS Plus.

Though, unfortunately, do note that AT&T will offer the handset with 8MP snapper, while Sprint still will opt for 13MP one.

The phone will be shipping with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (Jelly Bean expected to be ported soon), and will take full advantage of 4G LTE network on both carriers.

No words on pricing yet, though we’ll keep an ear out and will let you guys know.
