The OS X running Modbook Pro tablet is now up for preorders for $3,500. Brining the SSD storage starting at 64GB, the new Modbook tablet features 2GB of RAM, and a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 processor under the hood.

Expected to start shipping in the mid-November, the new Modbook Pro Mac tablet runs Mountain Lion.

Featuring a built-in stylus, the 13.3-incher Modbook also features Intel HD 4000 graphics. Moreover, you’ll even have the option of running Windows 7 on it, if you want to use it as some sort of hyper-mobile gaming rig.

Moving on, there’s also a 2.9GHz Intel core i7-powered model of Modbook Pro tablet with extra 16GB of RAM, and up to a 480GB SSD and you’ll have to plunk down a $4,819 deposit – in case you would be itching to get your hand-on over one.

At the time being, the device is only being offered to the customers out there in the US, but will be retailing worldwide soon.
