As the Windows 8 release date is looming around the horizon, the manufacturers seem to detailing their products that’ll be leading the upcoming operating system parade.
While we’ve been hearing about awesome intriguing business tablets from HP and Dell to hit the streets on Windows 8 launch event, the Acer is also looking forward to hit the masses with their yet another Windows-8 powered hybrid tablet/PC.
Unlike other Windows-8 products, the Acer’s Iconia W700 slate brings a versatile, portable design that delivers a first-rate touch and typing experience for productivity-focused PC users.
It also comes featuring 11.6-inch (1920 x 1080p) display, 4GB of RAM, a 64GB SSD, a 5 MP rear snapper along with 1 MP front-facing shooter, a Micro HDMI and USB 3.0 port in tow. It also has a bundled Bluetooth keyboard.
Starting October 26, the new Acer W700 tab will retail for between $800 and $1000 for the 1.8GHz Core i3 and Core i5 processor [and twice the memory] equipped versions, respectively. Stay tuned with us for a follow-up post.
