Alcatel, USA mobile phone maker just has launched its new 7-incher OneTouch T10 slate; and there’s talk that with this innovation the company is hoping to take on Apple’s iPad.
Making its debut in cheap tablets foray, the new Alcatel OneTouch T10 slate offers some decent specs. You might want to head down over to following quick spec run-down.
- 7-inch (800 x 480p) TFT display with 16:9 ratio
- 1GHz Rockchip RK2918 ARM Cortex-A8 single core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
- 4GB of on-board storage (expandable upto 32GB via MicroSD card)
- 0.3MP front-facing shooter
- USB port, mini HDMI port, and a headphone jack
- 3000 mAh battery
- WiFi support

The OneTouch T10 is a Google-certified device, as the Play Store icon can be seen in promotional photos; so apparently it will be packing full range of Google apps and services support. No words on global availability yet, but initially it will be shipping in Europe €120 ($155).
So what’s on your mind; is it indeed an iPad killer considering its price tag?
