Google just has released the latest version of the Jelly Bean operating system in the form of Android 4.1.2.

Coming as a minor update to Android, the new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is, reportedly, being rolled out to the Google’s Nexus 7 tablet [doesn’t mention to all]. The update brings a launcher landscape mode [screenshot below] on the Nexus 7. Additionally, it also adds rotation ability to the HomeScreen.

As Google is remaining mum on what is new in Android v4.1.2; we assume it nothing but a performance and stability update.
The latest Android 4.1.2 update ‘build JZO54K’ will be released to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) sometime today. And you can bet we’ll see OTAs start to roll out in due course.
