BBC, on Monday, has released new radio online service — dubbed BBC iPlayer.
Apart from being launched as exclusive iOS app, the new BBC iPlayer was also launched in the form of a consistent product across PC, mobile and tablet; wherein it can be accessed through online website.
The new iPlayer Radio for iPhone, iPad and iOS users brings access to listen any BBC radio channels and shows on their iDevice over a WiFi or 3G connection, so does with online website.
Additionally, users will be able to stream the radio broadcasts live and also download them for listening while offline at a later time.
The new service also allows users to share their favorite contents over the web.
Moreover, the service includes an alarm clock feature, to help you wake up with your favorite shows at each schedule.
The BBC iPlayer iOS app will be released today, with Android app is ‘coming soon.’ The service, at the time being, is only available in the United Kingdom; but the company does confirm that it will be rolling it out in other regions sooner rather than later.
