Optimus G Nexus E960

Recently lots of rumors and speculations have been swirling that LG may prepare a Nexus phone based on the recently unveiled Optimus G handset. Adding fuel to the fire, the folks from the XDA-Developers forum just have published a range of pictures of a device, calling it LG Optimus G Nexus.

LG Optimus G NexusCodenamed E960 (citing FCC), the leaked LG Nexus phone – judging by the pictures – seems to be running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, and has a casing around it hiding its final design.

Moreover, oddly enough, it’s also listed with a Codename of “mako” (a fish) which follows every other Nexus device Codename to date.

On the other hand, it seems like three different users (LG Korea employees) have posted some pictures taken by LG Optimus G Nexus phone. The images [shown below in gallery] were published on Google’s Picasa web albums; wherein a picture is 3264×2448 resolution in size.

It’s unclear whether it will be running on AT&T and T-Mobile or will be only-AT&T-exclusive. Stay tuned with us for additional details.
